In south/central Ohio, we have lots of clay or partially-clay soil. Finding the right plants and shrubs that will tolerate clay soil isn't as hard as you may think.

Merry Christmas! Your chickens look pretty and very happy and I'm glad you are getting eggs. What breed of chickens are they? They look like Dark Brahmas.

I eat eggs every morning too (whites and some yolk.) I enjoyed reading your article and this year I too cut white sugar out of my diet, and I switched to honey in my decaf. At the beginning of the year I started eating out of a neat old timey soup bowl instead of a big dinner plate and that helped me go from a size 14 to a size 10 from eating less and cutting down on starches and sweets. I think you really found the answer. I eat nuts and dried and fresh fruit for snacks.
